Introduction

We are pleased that you are visiting our Instagram page and, in this privacy policy, we inform you about how personal data is processed in connection with visiting or interacting with our Instagram page @soulvia.jewels or its content. To the extent that personal data is processed in connection with our Instagram page and the platform operator alone determines the purposes and means of processing, then: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as “Meta”) is solely responsible for the processing.

1. Information on Data Processing by Meta

Instagram’s Privacy Policy lists the categories of personal data processed when using Meta products (see “What information do we collect?”), describes in general terms the purposes for which this data is used (see “How do we use your information?”), and names the categories of recipients to whom this data may be disclosed (see “How is your information shared on Meta products or with integrated partners?”, “How do we share information with third parties?”, and “How do the Meta companies work together?”).

The linked privacy policy also contains information about the legal basis for processing this data (see “What is our legal basis for processing your information? What are your rights?” and “Information on legal basis”), as well as information on how you can withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data.

The privacy policy also explains how you can exercise your rights to access, correction, portability, and deletion toward Meta (see “What are your rights?”). The privacy policy also provides information about how long personal data is stored and the criteria used to determine this period (see “How long do we keep your information?”).

2. Information on Meta’s Use of Cookies

When you visit our Instagram page and your browser allows the storage of cookies, Meta stores information in the form of small text files in your browser’s memory (hereinafter “cookies”) and can access this information when you visit the Facebook platform or a website that integrates Facebook technologies.

3. Data Processing During Interactions on Our Instagram Page

Our Instagram page gives you the opportunity to react to our posts, comment on them, and send us private messages. b) Legal Basis for Data Processing

We process your data when you contact or interact with our page or its content on the basis of Art. 6(1)(e) GDPR.

c) Purpose of Data Processing

We process the data you provide in this context, and any data accessible to us, for the purpose of public relations work. We want to provide you with a platform where we can display current information and through which you can quickly contact us.

The use of platforms with broad reach and the processing of your data during interactions with our page or content is necessary for the performance of tasks carried out in the public interest.

d) Duration of Data Storage

Your data will be deleted by us, as far as possible, when we discontinue operation of our Instagram page. If Meta continues to store this data, such storage is governed solely by Meta’s privacy policy and terms of use.

4. Processing of Anonymized Data for Statistical Purposes

We have set up our Instagram page as a business profile and receive anonymized page statistics (“Instagram Insights”) provided by Meta, which give us statistical insights about visitors to our Instagram page and their interactions with our Instagram page and its content.

We do not contribute to decisions regarding the means and purposes of processing event data used to create page statistics, nor can we prevent the creation of these statistics.

The statistics include the following information:

- Reach, page views, viewing duration of video posts
- Interactions such as liking, commenting on, or sharing posts
- Demographic information such as age, gender, and location

It is not possible for us to identify individuals who triggered these events.

Rights of Data Subjects

Under applicable data protection law, you have the following rights regarding the processing of your personal data (rights of access and intervention), whereby reference is made to the stated legal basis for the respective conditions of exercise:

Duration of Storage of Personal Data

The duration of the storage of personal data is determined by the respective legal basis, the purpose of processing, and – where applicable – by the respective statutory retention period (e.g., commercial and tax law retention periods).

When processing personal data based on explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, the data in question will be stored until you withdraw your consent.

If statutory retention periods exist for data processed in connection with contractual or quasi-contractual obligations based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, this data will be routinely deleted after the retention periods have expired, unless it is still required for the performance of a contract or for taking steps prior to entering into a contract and/or we have a legitimate interest in its continued storage.

When processing personal data based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, this data will be stored until you exercise your right to object pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the purpose of establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.

When processing personal data for direct marketing purposes based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, this data will be stored until you exercise your right to object pursuant to Art. 21(2) GDPR.

Unless otherwise specified in this privacy policy regarding specific processing situations, stored personal data will be deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.
